Happy one year birthday to my Rooster, Boaz!
My Roo, Boaz, is officially a rooster today!
Happy birthday Boaz. I know being the beta male of the roosters isn’t a whole lot of fun… ha ha. It’s been great seeing you grow up over the past year! You have always been very sweet and nurturing/ sharing with your fellow Hens. May Jesus bless you with health and a good temper, despite your stern countenance. Ha ha. I love you baby boy! You will always be my baby rooster!
Boaz has gotten into a routine of coming to the front door,
(and sometimes announcing his presence with a deep, Tarzan like crow), and then comes inside for a few tasty morsels of our cat’s dry food! He is quite the character.
It’s been really fun to watch his crow perfect itself over the year. His first crows were hilarious, but he now has the loudest, and deepest crow out of the roosters! ❤️
Time sure flys by…
