A Poem: Safe in the arms of Jesus
Good morning! Hannah here…
Many find the arms of Jesus as too restrictive. They can’t sin the way they want to. They can’t watch what they want to. They can’t dress, and talk the way they want to. They can’t go where they want to.
So they wander away from these protective arms to a land of “freedom”- now vulnerable to the snares of the enemy.
These arms are for OUR protection.
Don’t fight against the arms that FIGHT FOR YOU. Don’t STRAY from the arms of Jesus, but STAY in them. There is no safer place to be.
10 Behold, the Lord GOD will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.
11 He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young. (Isaiah 40:10,11)
