Happy birthday to my Verity!

       Happy happy birthday to m darling Doe, Verity!🎉

                      

The moment I cradled Verity into my arms, attempted to give her her first bottle, and she let out a blood curdling, “MAAAHHH!” She took my breath away and captured my heart. 🥰 I am so thankful for my Nigerian Dwarf, Verity AKA- “Veritys Honey”. She has brought such joy into my life bottle feeding her as a baby goatling, and watching her grow up to now a nurturing mother of two beautiful little goatlings of her own. ❤️She has such a sweet personality, is extremely smart (quickly learning tricks: kneel and pray, 360, shake, stand, and recently jumping onto her milking stand. 😉)  super affectionate, knows her momma’s voice, and has delectable, creamy milk. 🙂

As a goatling, she would rather have her momma’s ear, than the nipple of her bottle, and…ahem…would it be too embarrassing to mention that she still tries to suck on my ear to this present day?! 😊 10 years ago I could have never seen myself owning a goat. Presently, I can’t imagine life without one. 🐐 Happy birthday to my darling Doe Verity! ❤️
