A new song 🎵
“O sing unto the LORD a new song: sing unto the LORD, all the earth.
2 Sing unto the LORD, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day.” Psalm 96:1,2
A NEW SONG can be more than SINGING (though this is important too) a new song before the Lord.
Like David who played the harp before the Lord, skillfully. Some of my favorite be still moments with God, is to sit at the piano and play a spontaneous melody before Him, with a prayer in my heart, or simply meditating on His Words and basking in His Greatness. ❤️📖 🎶
My Dad also likes to encourage us to sing spontaneous, new songs before the Lord. 🎶God inhabits the praises of His people! Don’t think you have to have a perfect voice to sing! As my Dad says, I would rather sing horribly from the heart, than JUST lovely from the lips.
God looks at the heart. Sing to Jesus today a new song, or play a new song before the Lord with all of your heart!
Beautiful! I love to sing, but don’t sound so great. Lol My dream is to learn the harp really well. I’m still working on it though. 😝 Looking forward to y’all’s next song! 😊 🩷
