You Can’t, but God CAN! ππ»
Good morning, blog readers! ☀️
All through out the scripture, we see where God used man’s weakness to display His might and power through them. Why? Because in this, God gets ALL the glory! ππ»
When MAN said, “Oh, that’s impossible!” God MADE it possible. We see this when God promised seed to barren women and then later opened their wombs. Like Sarah and Elisabeth. Etc. Etc.
God was displeased with Moses when He told him to speak before Pharaoh, and that He would be with his mouth and teach him what to say, but Moses said in so many words, “I can’t. Use someone else.” INSTEAD, of just recognizing that he had a speech problem, and wouldn’t be able to speak to Pharaoh on his own, but with the strength God would supply, believe in His heart, “I can by the strength of the Lord God!”
(See Exodus 4)
Yes, it’s fine to recognize we can’t in our own strength do what God tells us to do, but we must believe and say along with Paul, “I can l do all things the Christ which strengtheneth me.”
❤️✝️π‘️π
Amen, good word!
