Why Dress Modestly? Part 2

• Women are to be treated with all purity:                  “Rebuke not an elder, but intreat him as a father; and the younger men as brethren;The elder women as mothers; the younger as sisters, with all purity.”           1 Timothy 5:1,2                                                               If you want to be treated with all PURITY by your brothers in Christ, Ladies, then you must dress and act in a pure way.                                                             Think about it!  How can a brother in Christ treat his sister with all purity if he can’t even look at a her without being faced with a temptation to lust after her in his heart? He shouldn’t have to turn his head when you enter the room because of your lack of clothes. He shouldn’t have to worry about having impure thoughts towards you, because of how you carry yourself around him and dress. You should treasure your purity, in not just keeping your virginity until marriage, but also in the way you conduct yourself around other guys in dress and conversation. Act purely and you will be treated purely.. 
• Immodesty attracts the wrong kind of guy and attention:                                                                        Unfaithfulness will attract unfaithful men. Impurity will attract impure guys. Immodesty will attract guys with a bad heart/lust problem who care more for outward looks VS beauty within. A virtuous woman possesses INWARD beauty that is RARE. A RARE and faithful man will be attracted to this.                               Any godly man, faithful to his future spouse, and worth his salt, WILL NOT be attracted to a woman who DOES  NOT dress or carry herself in a pure manner.     A faithful/pure man will be attracted to a woman who is likewise keeping herself pure in body and spirit and is dressing and behaving in a pure way.                              It’s just that simple.                                                         The dangers of attracting a man by outward beauty VS inward beauty is that you’re going to have to KEEP him by your outward beauty. And run the risk of him finding a woman with more superior beauty than yours. And yes, there will always be other woman out there who will surpass your beauty. Especially with the many ways woman can obtain artificial “beauty” these days. Women like these are a dime a dozen.                   When a faithful man is drawn to a godly woman because of the rare beauty she possesses inside, and because of the godly virtues she holds, he will forever treasure her. He is not looking for any other woman. He knows the rare jewel he has. He knows her price is far above rubies.  Prov. 31:10 “Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.”                                                        Don’t be cheap, Ladies. Treasure your purity. 
• Modestly Feminine:                                                        It’s in every little girl to want to twirl around with a frilly, flowing dress, with flowers in hair, prancing around like a little princess.   🌸                            Dressing modestly doesn’t mean mean you lose the pretty princess feminine way found in young ladies, but that you’re combining pretty femininity with godly modesty. Femininity and modesty must never be separated. You can still wear pretty things. Just make sure you’re being femininely modest, Ladies.
